Selected Shorts is the short film DVD label founded by the International Short Film Festival Leuven. It releases a number of national and international short film compilations every year, and hereby aims to promote the short film as well as encourage its distribution (see: Other activities).
The Selected Shorts releases are available in the Belgian FNAC branches, Standaard Boekhandel or via the Selected Shorts webshop.

SELECTED SHORTS #6:
THE BEST FLEMISH SHORTS OF 2006 |
 This latest addition to the Selected Shorts catalogue gives an outstanding overview of the best Flemish shorts of 2006. The DVD includes student films from all the major film schools as well as shorts by professional filmmakers such as Alex Stockman or Tom Geens. As always, many of the selected shorts have won awards in Belgium and abroad.
All films are subtitled in English!

COMEDY SHORTS |
 Comedy Shorts is a choice selection of humorous short films - all of which were part of compilations shown at the Leuven International Short Film Festival in recent years. Ten gems, from all corners of the world, in the most diverse of styles: from deadpan absurdity over laugh-out-loud hilarious to cute feel good films, from super short gags to miniature feature films. And, as always, this Selected Shorts release also contains several internationally awarded productions.

 A colourful selection of European animated shorts, many of which have won several prizes on film festivals in Belgium and abroad. The films on Short Films For Kids are not only highly original and surprising fantastic tales, they also offer children an insight into the genre of animated film.
